Project Brief
Protect and extend service life of 97,780 sq meters of concrete water and sewer pipe; 500 to 2000 mm in diameter, from deterioration caused by Hydrogen Sulfide Gas and Sulfur Reducing Bacteria Growth.
Our Solution
Putty was used to fill the large bug holes, then concrete was sweep blasted.
SPI’s HT-100FTM with AE-4TM for added adhesion, was spray applied for chemical resistance and to waterproof the newly produced concrete pipe.
